New Delhi: Under ‘Medicinal Plants’ component of Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM), the Ministry of AYUSH is supporting various activities relating to cultivation, establishment of nurseries, Post-Harvest Management, IEC activities and marketing of medicinal plants/herbs throughout the country including hilly areas. Under ‘Medicinal Plants’ component of NAM Scheme there is also a provision to establish Herbs Collection Centres at the Village/District/State level.
