CM Rawat met Israeli delegation

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat met a delegation from Israel at his camp office at his official residence on Saturday.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand state is surrounded by two international boundaries. He also discussed the possibilities in technological cooperation in modern communication system regarding internal and external security with the delegation.

The Chief Minister also discussed with the delegation about cooperation in the field of disaster management, water conservation and agriculture development.

He also had discussion in field of Commando, VIP security, Anti-Drone surveillance and Weapons training.  The Chief Minister said that Israel had the technological expertise in the above-mentioned field.

He asked the Israeli delegation to present a work plan for the equipment and it’s technical training to the state government. He also raised the issue of PM Narendar Modi’s visit to Israel and hoped cooperation in different issues with Israel to benefit Uttarakhand also.

The president of the Israeli delegation Yoshi Harley said that they will present a work plan as per the expectations of the Chief Minister in different fields for detailed cooperation soon. The Additional Chief Secretary Om Prakash, IG G.S. Martolia, Technical advisor to CM Narendar Singh, Indian representative in Israel Vijay Miglani and Rajiv  Mehndi were present on the occasion.
