New Delhi: The total sown area as on 29th June 2018, as per reports received from States, stands at 165.21 lakh hectare as compared to 210.75 lakh hectare at this time last year.
It is reported that rice has been sown/transplanted in 26.91 lakh ha, pulses in 10.72 lakh ha, coarse cereals in 23.89 lakh ha, sugarcane in 50.01 lakh hectare and cotton in 32.20 lakh ha.
