CM Rawat to participate in meeting of CMs’ presided by PM Modi on Aug 28

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat will participate in the meeting of Chief Minister’s to be presided over by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in New Delhi on August 28, 2018. The progress of various projects and schemes of the state will be presented in the Chief Minister’s meeting.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat held a review meeting with departmental heads on the issues to be presented in the important meeting to be presided over by the Prime Minister Mr. Modi at Chief Ministers’ residence on Monday. In the meeting, the Chief Minister sought information about Kedarnath rebuilding schemes, Char Ḍham road project, Mussoorie-Dehradun, Gaurikund-Kedarnath, Ghaghria-Hemkund ropeway projects, Swaatch Bharat Mission, Grameen Swattchtha, Peyjal, residential schemes for poor  and rural people under JNURM, solid waste management and ‘Namame Gange’

He also sought progress report on Chief Minister State Food Scheme, Mudra Yojna, Ujjawala and Ujjawala Plus, Ujjala, Saubhagaya, Smart City Mission, Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojna, Health index and health related projects, Beti Bachao,Beti Padhao, Jandhan Yojna, irrigation and flood control, labour reforms, tree plantation, Soil health cards, Kisan Kalyan Yojna, City Gas distribution and  Mega Food Parks.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that there is need to speedy implementation of tourism related schemes to boost tourism in the state. This will help create self-employment and check migration. He will discuss the problems in the implementation of these schemes besides taking up the issues of pending hydro-electric projects in Bhagirathi and Ganga basin and it’s tributaries in the meeting.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat instructed all the officers to speed up the implementation of these schemes since Prime Minister also keeps a watch on the projects associated with the development and interests of the state. He also directed the officers to regularly monitor the progress of these projects and by making on the spot inspections.

Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Ranveer Singh, Om Prakash, Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary Anand Vardhan, Secretary Radhika Jha, Dilip Jawalkar, Arvind Singh Hyanki, Harbans Singh Chugh, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
