Mother tongue has most important place in life: CM Trivendra

Dehradun: As a part of the Hindi Fortnight, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat graced a conference, organized jointly by the Indian Language Campaign Uttarakhand and Law Commission Uttarakhand, as the chief guest and held discussions with the law officers at the Bijapur Guest House on Sunday. On this occasion, Chief Minister said that people and public sentiments are the highest in a democracy. Under the Indian language Campaign, the work being done to spread the propaganda of Hindi and other mother tongues is an attempt to awaken India’s soul. Mother language has the most important place in life. He said that we cannot express our true and deep human sensibilities and feelings in other languages. All assistance will be given by the State Government for the protection and promotion of Hindi and mother tongues. Chief Minister said that as a result of the conference, this idea of Indian Language Campaign will be considered seriously by the government on the ideas and the suggestions.

Chief Minister said that the State Law Commission has submitted report to revive the Code of Criminal Procedure 438 (CrPC 438) to the State Government. State Government will shortly put up in the Cabinet. On the recommendation of the Law Commission, the prospects for development of new structures of Revenue Court will be considered for the earliest for the disposal of Revenue cases. On this occasion, Chief Minister also released the book “Hindi Ke Vikas Mein Himwant Ka Yogdan”. On this occasion, Justice Shri Lokpal Singh Verma, Chairman of the State Law Commission Justice (Retd) Rajesh Tandon, President State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission Justice Brahm Singh Verma, Justice Sarvesh Gupta, Patron Indian Language Campaign Atul Kothari and other judicial officers and advocates were present
