CM Rawat attends 18th Founders Day function of Selaqui International School

Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat attended the 18th Founders Day function of Selaqui International School on Saturday. While distributing prizes to the meritorious students of the school, the Chief Minister called upon the students that they have to think of education and also to contribute to the society. This will be the success of education. He said that the use of modern information technology would also have to be done by us and only then will the meaning of modern technology will be realized. He also asked to focus on how the common man’s participation can be ensured in this.

Chief Minister said that today’s youth is India’s future. Their participation in education as well as in other social sectors is also important. In the recently held Destination Uttarakhand, 150 school students were also part of it. Chief Minister said that public participation is necessary in the activities related to social interest, only then success in the work is achieved. For this, he gave an example of the people’s cooperation received for the rejuvenation of Rispana to Rishiparna and Kosi rivers, in which, lakhs of trees were planted around these rivers in one hour. He said that we can convey any resolution to the result only when there is public participation in it. He called upon educational institutions to contribute to the development of villages nearby. He asked the students to move forward with greater and positive thinking. Students should do everything with an approach that I can to try to move forward with this thinking. Chief Minister also released the annual magazine of the school on this occasion.

Mr. Om Pathak, Chairman, Selaqui International School assured the Chief Minister that his institute will support 5 inter-institutes of this area in the promotion of modern education so that the students can take advantage of the new technology of education. He said that his college is committed for quality education. The school’s headmaster Mr. Rashid informed about the activities of the school.
