All Ten Parliamentary Constituencies in Haryana to go to poll in 6th Phase of General Elections on Sunday, 12th May

New Delhi: In the State of Haryana, 10 Parliamentary Constituencies (PCs) namely Ambala (SC), Hisar,Karnal, Sonipat, Faridabad, Sirsa(SC), Gurgaon, Kurukshetra, Rohtak and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh will go to poll in a single phase i.e. the 6th Phase of General Election, 2019.The polling will take place on Sunday, 12th May, 2019 from 7 AM till 6 PM. Out of the 10 PCs, 8 are for General Category while 2 PCs – Sirsa and Ambala are reserved for Scheduled castes. A total of 223 Candidates are contesting for the 10 PCs out of which 11 are women. The lowest number of contesting candidates are from Karnal (16 candidates) while the maximum number of candidates are contesting from Sonipat (29 candidates). A total of 19,441 polling stations have been set up in the State out of which 5510 polling stations are in urban areas while 13,931 are in rural areas.

The State of Haryana has a total of 1,80,56,896 voters out of which 97,16,516 are male, 83,40,173 are female and 207 are from the third gender. The following table and Graph shows the Gender wise breakup of voters in all the PCs (as on 23rd April, 2019). The State has 100% EPIC coverage and images on the Electoral Roll.
