New Delhi: The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has expressed condolences over the Bihar boat tragedy. In a message, Shri M. Hamid Ansari said he prayed to the Almighty to give the bereaved families of the victims the strength and fortitude to withstand this immense loss.

“It is with profound grief that I have learnt of the loss of lives caused by the boat tragedy in Bihar. My thoughts are with the bereaved families.
I am informed that the Central and State Government agencies have been carrying out relief and rescue work.
I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and pray to the Almighty to give them strength and fortitude to withstand this immense loss.”
