Counselling date extends upto 18th September, 2017 for 15% seats on All India Quota in recognized Veterinary Colleges during 2017-18

New Delhi: The Veterinary Council of India through its Public Notice dated 11.09.2017 published schedule for counselling for allocation of seats to the recognized Veterinary Colleges for admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. course under 15% All India Quota during 2017-18.  . In addition to this, the candidate has to satisfy the eligibility criteria as per VCI – MSVE Regulations, 2016, details of which are available in the Information Bulletin on   website  www.vci.nic.in,  www.aipvt.vci.nic.in and www.dahd.nic.in.

According to previous schedule last date for registration by candidate was 13.09.2017 (upto 14.00 hrs) and date of reporting as immediate. However, in order to  provide sufficient time period for students to register themselves for counselling and for reporting to veterinary colleges on allocation of seats,  Central Government has permitted for extending  the date of registration and also reporting by candidates to veterinary colleges after allocation of seats.  Accordingly, candidates who have successfully qualified NEET (UG) 2017 and fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Regulations, 2016 and  desirous to take admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. course under 15% All India Quota in recognized  Veterinary Colleges can now register for counselling upto 18th September, 2017  (11.00 hrs).

The processing and allocation of seats will be done upto 19th September, 2017 (16.00 hrs).  The issuance of allocation letter to the candidate and the allotted Veterinary Colleges will be made available on 19thSeptember, 2017 (17.00 hrs) and reporting to the allotted Colleges by the candidates will be upto 25thSeptember, 2017 (16.00 hrs).  The candidates are requested to visit the Website www.vci.nic.in,  www.aipvt.vci.nic.in and www.dahd.nic.in
