New Delhi: Ministry of Culture as a part of ‘Paryatan Parv’ is organising ‘Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav’ under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat matrix in Gujarat. The State paired with Gujarat is Chhattisgarh. The Mahotsav coverd a profusion of art forms from classical and folk music and dance, theatre to literature and the visual arts and would offer the chance to experience the best in established and emerging virtuosity. The “Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM)-2017” started today, will continue till 9th October, 2017 in India’s 1st World Heritage City i.e Ahmadabad,
Day three witnessed amazing response from people of all walks of life. As part of the Paryatanparv 2017 theday started with “Yoga Demonstration” organized by Indiatourism, Mumbai and Kaivalyadham (Yoga Institute) at the Priyadarshni Park, Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai there were over 30 Yoga Demonstrators who demonstrated the Common Yoga Practice to over 300 early morning joggers.
Indiatourism Delhi in association with Yes Institute (Yes Bank) organized Heritage Cycle Tour , an Essay competition was organized at IHM Srinagar on “How to promote tourism destination in Kashmir”. A street play was organised at Dona Paula Jetty, a prominent tourist spot in Goa by the National Institute of Watersports in association with India Tourism and Institute of Hotel Management, Goa.
As part of the Paryatan Parv-2017,a run for Incredible India was organized by Indiatourism Mumbai in association with IHM Ahmedabad to sensitizethe service providers.
India tourism Chennai in association with IHM, State Tourism Departments from Tamilnaduand Members of Hospitality and Travel Trade Industry organized panel discussion on Tourism Promotion, competitions like creative writing and poster making with Tourism as the theme. A Workshop on Destination Marketing and Yoga Demonstration were also held.Approximately 3000students from various institutes including NCC have participated in these events.
Other Central Ministries are also participating in ParyatanParv by organizing various activities. Railway Ministry has already illuminated some of the major railway stations.
Online contests on MyGov platform have been started, the three components of the contents are DekhoApnaDesh Photo Contest, Incredible India Quiz , DekhoApnaDesh Blog Contest. Winners of the contests will receive attractive prizes.
