The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 37.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 29.86 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 24.75 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.34 per cent at Rs 310.16 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 278.57 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.07 per cent to Rs 256.39 crore from Rs 235.06 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 771.76 per cent at Rs 14.82 crore versus (Sep’16 Rs 1.70 crore). Operating Profit surged by 13.10 per cent to Rs 53.77 crore as against Rs 47.54 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.58 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 118.75 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.35 crore, while Taxation increased by 58.17 per cent at Rs 19.36 crore (Sep’16 Rs 12.24 crore).
