Sensor Tower Store Intelligence report, brought out by San Francisco-based Sensor Tower, presents top mobile apps, games and publishers worldwide in 2017. The report states that mobile users spent nearly $60 billion in apps during 2017 on the App Store and Google Play.
Reliance Jio is the only Indian company mentioned in the list. The company, which was founded in 2007, disrupted Indian telecom market by rolling out 4G data scheme during the summer of 2017.
The Sensor Tower data states that Tencent is the world’s top earning mobile publisher in terms of both non-game and mobile game revenue in 2017, with the aforementioned Tencent Video and Honor of Kings as its standout apps in those categories.
