The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced the launch of GST service centre. Incidentally, the announcement took place nearly at the completion of one year of GST implementation.
According to the AAP trade wing the problems of GST are not yet over. The party’s wing intends to assist traders through the service centre.
The first GST service center in Delhi will be opened in Laxmi Nagar of East Delhi. The centre is expected to be operational from the first week of July.
At the service centre, tax professionals and chartered accountants will be appointed to advise traders with GST and E-Pay bills. They will also help them in the matters of registration, refunds and returns.
According to AAPs Brijesh Goyal, it has been over a year ever since GST has been implemented. However, there are some issues have affected various facets of business.
AAP trade wing also claimed that the facilities at the GST Service Center will be free for all.
The party’s trade wing will also launch a helpline for traders so that they can get a solution to their problems on the phone.
Goyal added that if their venture is successful, they will establish one centre each in every Lok Sabha constituencies of Delhi. BY India Today
