Arjun Tendulkar continues to be in the news from London. After he was spotted having lunch with England woman’s cricket team star Danielle Wyatt the other day, on Friday Arjun was seen helping out the ground staff at Lord’s in one of the many rain interruptions on Day 2 of the second Test.
Arjun was there on the ground helping the groundsmen to get the ground ready for play during the first session of play when the players had to walk off after India were on 11/2 after just a few overs of play on Day 2.
The official Twitter page of the the Lord’s Cricket Ground tweeted his picture along with the following caption:
“Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our Groundstaff!”

Arjun, who recently played his first match for the U-19 side, was in the Indian Under-19 side which toured Sri Lanka in July.
With wicket apiece in both innings of the first Test, Arjun had a good game with the ball but unfortunately failed with the bat, scoring a duck. He struggled in the second Test too, picking up a solitary wicket in the match and 14 runs with the bat.
He was excluded from the ODI squad, which took on the Sri Lankan Under-19 side, after his performance in the longer formats.
