Mumbai: Most base metals dropped at the non- ferrous metal market here today on stockists’ selling amid reduced demand from industrial users.

Tin dipped by Rs 50 per kg to Rs 1,375 from the previous closing level of Rs 1,425.

Nickel fell by Rs 40 per kg to Rs 645 from Rs 685.

Zinc dropped by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 204 from Rs 219.

Copper wire bar and copper cables scrap declined by Rs 13 per kg each to Rs 413 and Rs 385 as against Rs 426 and Rs 398, respectively.

Copper scrap heavy slipped by Rs 11 per kg to Rs 380 from Rs 391.

Copper armiture and copper sheet cutting dropped by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 365 and Rs 360 as compared to Rs 375 and Rs 370, respectively.

Aluminium ingots moved down by Rs 9 per kg to Rs 138 from Rs 147, brass sheet cutting by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 295 from Rs 303, copper utensil scrap by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 345 from Rs 352 and brass utensil scrap by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 280 from Rs 285.

Aluminium utensils and lead softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 116 and Rs 155, respectively.
