Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who took ill during a film shoot in Jodhpur on Tuesday, has assured his fans and well-wishers that he is doing fine after being treated by his team of doctors.
The 75-year-old actor once again announced his recovery on social media. Bachchan took to his blog and Twitter to inform about his wellness. In a post in Hindi, the actor said, “I was not feeling well and had to call my doctors for treatment, but now i am doing fine.” Overwhelmed by the response from his fans, who sent him wishes after the news of his illness spread, he quipped that his illness made him aware of his well-wishers. His wife Jaya Bachchan told the media that he had pain in his neck and back due to the heavy costumes of the film. The actor has been in Jodhpur for last one week for the shooting of the film “Thugs of Hindostan”. The team of doctors, who arrived in Jodhpur from Mumbai’s Leelavati Hospital, returned by chartered flight. Hospital sources said Bachchan is fine and went to Mehrangarh fort on Wednesday for the ongoing shoot. (DH)
