Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation D V Sadananda Gowda said that there is a terrorist government in Karnataka. The murders that were taking place inside the jails have been occurring in streets during the Congress-rule in Karnataka.
He was speaking after flagging off the Jana Suraksha Yathre at Kushalnagar on Saturday.
“Hindu activists are murdered in the state. Congress leaders are behaving like goondas. The coastal districts have become a terror centre and the state government is responsible for it,” he charged.
He said, “Before Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh there was unrest in the state. Now, peace has been restored in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP should come back to power in Karnataka for the restoration of peace. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy should learn from Yogi Adityanath.”
The yathre was flagged off at B M Road. A padayatra was held till Guddehosooru. MPs Prathap Simha and Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs M P Appachu Ranjan and K G Bopaiah and others were present. (DH)
