Restaurant owners receive orders from police stations, but they probably don’t expect to have to take food along when they go to file complaints.
But that’s what a Lucknow restaurateur had to go through recently, according to the news agency Asian News International.
A sub-inspector allegedly asked her for pizza when she came to file a complaint, ANI said. “She asked us to bring food and take our FIR copy,” the complainant was quoted as saying. “We supplied the order, but they returned it, and paid us after the incident went viral on social media.” ANI said the sub-inspector was suspended.
