The registrations for the CBSE UGC National Elgibility Test, which is currently underway, will close on 5 April 2018.
Interested candidates can apply for the examination on cbsenet.nic.in.
The NET is held to determine the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship posts in Indian Universities and colleges.
The CBSE is scheduled to conduct the NET in 84 subjects across 91 selected centres on 8 July.

The examination fee is fixed at Rs 1,000 for candidates hailing from the general category. For OBC category students, the fee is Rs 500, while SC,ST, PwD and Transgender students are charged Rs 250 as the fee.
The maximum age limit to take the test is 30 years.
The examination structure consists of two papers – Paper 1 for 100 marks with 50 questions, and Paper 2 with 100 questions for a total of 200 marks. (The Quint)
