Dehradun: Mukesh Koli, Pauri legislator has thanked Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat for transferring senior physician Dr. Amit Rautela from Haldwani to District Hospital, Pauri. The local residents of Pauri had been demanding positing of a senior physician in the district hospital for a long time. Chief Minister in public interest on the request of local legislator Mukesh Koli gave the directions to the health department for the appointment of a senior physician. The health department transferred Dr. Amit Rautela from Haldwani to Pauri.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that to provide better health facilities in the state was the top priority of the state government. Many efforts are being made to meet the challenges being faced in the health sector. Recently more than one thousand doctors have been appointed in the state and most of the doctors have been posted in the hilly areas. The state government is going to start one of the biggest health schemes till date shortly. Under the “ Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna”, all the 22 lakh families of the state will get health insurance of Rs. Five lakh annually.
Chief Minister said that online registration has been started in 43 hospitals in the state. The facilities of x-ray, CT scan, MRI and mammography in remote 35 medical centres have been started through tele-radiology. In six health centres, E-heatl centres have been established to give facilities of medical tests. The work to establish ICU in all the district hospitals has been started. The first ICU has been established at Pithoragarh District hospital. A total of 106 Jan Ayushadi Kendra despite the sanction of 100 such Jan Ayushadi Kendras by the central government have been started to provide medicines at cheaper rates to the general public.
