Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat greets people on occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar Birth anniversary

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has greeted the people of Uttarakhand on the occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar anniversary.  He said that entire nation is celebrating Dr BR Ambedkar’s anniversary as “Samarsta Diwas”.  In his message, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that the meaning of “Samarsta” is to treat every individual equally and different sections of society would be united only when every individual is treated equally. He said it was the dream of Dr Ambedkar to end caste system, bring in social equality, rights are protected only then the dream of New India could be accomplished.  He said our constitution gives equally rights to every individual, irrespective of his caste, religion or beliefs.

He expressed happiness that we are working to accomplish New India mission, which was dreamt by Dr Ambedkar. It would be the New India where there is no  social injustice, there is no violation of  fundamental rights and equal opportunities are provided to every individual.

 He said BJP government believes in the principle of providing equal rights to every individual and growth of poor people. He said that motive for preparing aspirants for competitive examinations or sanctioning scholarship benefits to neglected sections of society is to provide equal opportunity to every section of the society.

 He said Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s agenda of “ Sabka Saath, Sabkla Vikas” is a manifestation of  this dream. He said Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has taken many steps to sensitize masses on Dr Ambedkar’s struggle, and sacrifice. He said plans are in the pipeline for construction of “Panch Teerth” in the memory of Dr Ambekdar, which means developing “Teerth” (Pilgrimage) at places where he was born, where he studied, where he worked, where he got ‘Diksha’ and where he attained ‘mahanirvana’.
