Dehradun: On the issue of requirement of E-way bill for transportation of goods, it is clarified that generation of E-way bill will be mandatory from April 1, 2018 for transportation of taxable goods worth more than Rs.50,000 for inter-state movement i.e. from one state to another state.
However, generation of E-way bill for transportation of goods within the state is not required till further orders. A notification in this regard has been issued. The notification will be effective from April 1, 2018.
