CM announces many beneficiary schemes at Shakti Farm

Udham Singh Nagar: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat laid foundation stone of a road from Shaktifarm to Teenpani at Durga Puja Mandir complex, Tagore Nagar, on Tuesday. The road is going to be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 7 crore 60 lakh and 41 thousand. He handed over land ownership certificates to 24 beneficiaries of the regularized land under category-4, category- 8 and category-20. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister said that government has checked corruption in the state so that people can get a transparent government.

He said that the state government has increased the revenue in the power sector and propose to earn a profit of Rs 300 crore in the coming years. He said plans are in the pipeline to make transport department a profit generating venture. He said that government has earned a revenue of Rs 400 crore through mining, and target to earn a revenue of Rs 800 crore in the next year.

He said that that government is working with full transparency and the next step is to generate employment in the state and conclaves in this regard would be held at block and district level. He said that anybody can register his complain and suggestions on 1905 number. He said monetary compensation would be granted to farmers in next two months, whose crops were damaged in recent hailstorm.

He appealed to villagers to regularize their land by 19 August, 2018 and land regularization is being done on basis of year 2000 circle rate and later, it would be done on the present circle rate.

He said that the proposals for the transfers of forest land should be expedited so that the construction of road in village Gautha and Bagga could be undertaken. He said government has opted for E-tendering to bring transparency. He said the state government earned 11 times more revenue than normal tenders by adopting E-tendering process for allotting liquor shops in the state. He announced to construct 13 km long road between Sirsa and Shaktifarm, a bridge on river Sukhi, 2 km long road from Gautha, bus stop at Sitarganj, and to start 108 emergency service at Shaktifarm. He said doctors would be appointed soon in Sitarganj and Shaktifarm. On the complaint by locals that they are being paid were low wages in SIIDCUL industrial areas, the Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate to table report after investigation into the matter.

He termed Uttarakhand as a small replica of India as students from across the country come to the state for getting education. He said that the state government with an aim to enrich cultural activities propose to start ‘Bharat-Bharati’ programme in the state.

Former Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, MLA Saurabh Bahuguna, Rajesh Shukla, DM Neeraj Khairwal, SSP Dr Sadanand Datte were present.
