Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat participated in a ‘Holi Milan’ programme organized by Dehradun Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city unit near ISBT,here on Saturday. Conveying his good wishes on the festival of Holi, Chief Minister Rawat said that two third majority won by the party in Tripura assembly polls has made the festival more special. He said that it was a victory of ideology of BJP as the people of Tripura have shunned communist ideology.
Chief Minister said that the people of Tripura by giving mandate to BJP have given a try to cultural nationalism. Uttarakhand Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, BJP legislators Harbans kapoor, Khazan Dass and Vinod Chamoli, party incharge general secretary Shyam Jaju, BJP city unit chief Vinay Goel, BJP state general secretary Naresh Bansal, State secretary Sunil Uniyal and Umesh Aggarwal alongwith large number of public representatives were present on the occasion
