Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, after visiting the Ghat region, attended the Sri Tripuran Katha and Gyan Yagna organized by the villages at holy place of Narayanbagar Parkhal Mahamrityunjay Mahadev. On this occasion, Chief Minister was accompanied by Higher Education and Co-operatives Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and the newly elected MLA Munni Devi Shah. On this occasion, Chief Minister said in his address that a degree college will soon be opened in Narayanbagar. He also announced Rs 5 lakh for the Mahamrityunjay Mahadev Temple.
Chief Minister said that network facilities will be provided in the areas, where there is a network problem, through the Aerospace Balloon System and it will be started from Pindar valley area. He said that government is working on the policy of zero tolerance. He said that soon, training will be given to women groups to make bulbs and youth and women will be encouraged towards electricity generation from Pirul and self-employment.
On this occasion, Chief Minister also instructed the officials to immediately get the bad roads in the area repaired. He expressed gratitude to the people of the region for making Munni Devi Shah victorious in the Tharali by-election and providing strength to the government. Apprising the Chief Minister about various problems, the regional public submitted a memorandum of demands to the Chief Minister. Chief Minister assured the people of the area that their problems will be taken care of. On this occasion, Mandal President Dalip Negi, former District Panchayat President Anand Singh Rawat, Chief Development Officer Hasandatta Pandey and a large number of regional people were present.
