CM Rawat attends Kapat Utsav programme at Madhmaheshwar temple

Rudraprayag: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat attended the Kapat Utsav programme of the Madhmaheshwar temple. On the occasion of the opening of the portals of the temple, the Chief Minister offered prayers in the Madhmaheshwar shrine and wished for the prosperity of the state. He took a round of the temple premises and checked the arrangements being made for the pilgrims and also interacted with the pilgrims and took suggestions from them. Chief Minister said that more than 8 lakh pilgrims coming for the Char Dham Yatra till now reflects that we have been successful in spreading the message of safe Uttarakhand in the country and across the world.

He said that complete care is being taken to ensure proper facilities for the pilgrims coming for the Char Dham Yatra. ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ has been our tradition. Every person coming to the state is our guest. On this occasion, Union Minister Ms Uma Bharti, Zila Panchayat President Rudrapur Laxmi Rana, K.S.Pawar (Industrial Advisor to CM) and others were present. After that, the Chief Minister also offered prayers at the Chandrama temple in Ransi and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
