Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat distributed free LPG gas connections under “Ujjawala Yojna” to beneficiaries at a function held on the occasion of birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dyal Upadhaya at Kusht Ashram, Tyagi road. Speaking at the function, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that Pandit Deen Dyal Upadhaya was born in a poor family but was a talented personality. He believed that the first right on the resources of the society should be of poor people.
He said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has also given priority to the interests of the poor people. He said that through ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojna’, home to every poor person by 2020, doubling the income of farmers, free LPG gas connection unbder ‘ Ujjawala Yojna“, the benefits of development will reach every person of the society. Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said the Uttarakhand government will soon launch ‘Atal Ayushman Yojna’ in the state which will give benefits of ‘Ayushman Yojna” to all the families (22.5 families) living in the state. Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country to give benefits of ‘Ayushman yojna’ to every family of the state.
