Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has appealed to the youth to stay away from any kind of drugs and play an active role in campaign against drugs. Chief Minister said that drugs not only make the youth physically and mentally weak but is also a planned conspiracy to make the country weak. He said that youth should themselves stay away from intoxication and make others also aware about the menace of drugs.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that drugs is not only a personal problem but has social, economic and national consequences. He advised that youth should maintain the commitments, beliefs and honour of their families and society and stay away from drugs.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat flagged off the Marathon-2018 organized by Uttarakhand police against drug menace from police lines on Sunday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat administered oath against drugs to the participants in the marathon. Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed his best wishes to Uttarakhand police for organizing the marathon against drug menace. On this occasion, newly elected Mayor of Dehradun Mr Sunil Uniyal Gama, Director General of Police (DGP) Mr Anil Raturi, Additional Director General (ADG) Mr Ashok Kumar, other senior officials and large number of participants were present.
