Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat met a delegation of hotel association at his residence. He held a discussion to generate employment opportunities in hotel, tourism sector and to increase the revenue of the state.
The Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that government is interested in encouraging tourism sector. He said that migration from the hilly areas could be checked by generating employment opportunities in tourism sector. He further said government is working hard to best use human resources available and to make youth self-dependent through skill development. He announced that 5000 home stay would be started by 2020.
The Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that there is bright future in tourism. He said that tourism sector would get a boost due to all weather road, Karanprayag rail line, connecting routes, making youth skillful in hospitality industry, establishment of hospitality university, development of ‘Sanskriti Gram’, ‘13 district,13 new destination scheme’. He said state’s tourism sector is also being linked with tourism sector and ‘Tehri Mahotsava’ would be organised soon.
