Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has extended his greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of ‘Buddha Purnima’. In his message issued on the eve of ‘Buddha Purnima’, Chief Minister Rawat said that the Lord Buddha’s message of compassion, non-violence and equality are working as pillars of light in the path of humanity.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat hoped that ‘Buddha Purnima’ will promote peace and prosperity in the state. He said the profound teachings of equality, love, kindness and tolerance of Buddha have become more relevant in the present times. He said the message of the Lord Buddha will inspire us to walk on the path of truth and compassion and work unitedly for the country’s progress, peace and prosperity. He said people are remembering Gautam Buddha today as his ideals and his thoughts will show the path for generations to come.
