Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated a contemporary painting exhibition at the Art Gallery situated in MDDA complex , Clock Tower. The Chief Minister watched the paintings at the contemporary painting exhibition which has been organized in the memory of famous painter Late Surinder Pal Joshi.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the exhibits put by the artists of Uttarakhand and other states is a symbol of creation of art. He said that the creative artists have shown their dedication towards arts. Chief Minister said that Dehradun besides being the capital city of the state is also a major destination in the country. He said that destination centres are being developed so that tourists get a glimpse of the culture of Uttarakhand. Khajan Dass, legislator, artists from different districts and other distinguished guests were present on the occasion.
