Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the Uttarakhand Corporate Cricket 2018 organised by WT Solutions at Tanush Cricket Academy on Shimla Bypass road. The first match of the competition was played between team of MLA Uttarakhand and T.S.R-11. In which the T.SR.-11 team emerged victorious.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat congratulated the organizers of the Cricket League on the theme of “Against Corruption and Drugs”. He inspired all the teams to play enthusiastically. “The aim of this cricket League is to encourage the younger generation and develop interest in the sports so that they are able to make a name for themselves and of the state at national and international level”, said the Chief Minister.
He said that it was important to pay attention towards the sports especially during the age where everyone is busy and have no time for sports. From MLA’s Team Prakash Pant, Mukesh Koli, Mahesh Negi, Adesh Chauhan, Deshraj Karnwal, Vinod Kandari and others participated in the match. From TSR 11 team Dhirendra Panwar, Navin Baluni, Ramesh Bhatt, Abhay Rawat and others played.
