Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat remembered former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary. Paying his tributes on the eve of birth anniversary of Dr Kalam, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the contribution of Dr. Kalam in strengthening India’s space science and defence was unique. Known as ‘Missile Man’, Dr. Kalam made the country self dependent in the field of long range missiles.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that as a scientist Dr Kalam has a special contribution in the fields of defence and space research. Dr. Kalam is also famous for education, writing and public service. “ His simple life will be a source of inspiration for all of us,” he said.
