Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has recalled the role of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali on the eve of anniversary of “Peshawar Kand” and said that “Peshawar Kand” was an important event during Indian freedom movement.
On the eve of “Peshawar Kand”, Chief Minister said that this event played an important role in Indian freedom movement. Terming the role of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali and his teammates’ as unforgettable and unprecedented, he said that this event is registered in golden letters in the history of freedom struggle.
