CM Trivendra greets teachers of the state on Teachers’ Day

Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has extended congratulations and good wishes to all the teachers of the state on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In his message, Chief Minister said that teachers have a huge contribution in our lives. Besides inculcating knowledge in the life of the students, teachers also lay foundation of a strong future of the country. Teachers also have a significant contribution in giving new direction to the society. In our lives, teachers occupy the most important place after parents. Celebrating the birthday of the former President, educationist and philosopher of the country Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as Teachers’ Day is a matter of pride for all of us. This day is also a day to salute that great personality. Chief Minister said that the state government is trying to uplift education and making efforts to see entire society educated. Chief Minister also urged the teachers to make every possible support to raise the level of education in the state. Describing teachers as the creators of the future of the country, he called upon the younger generation to give proper honour to the teachers.
