New Delhi: The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that continuous communication between public representatives and the public is crucial for development of our nation. He was addressing the gathering after releasing the Book ‘Bebak Baat’, authored by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Statistics & Programme Implementation, Shri Vijay Goel, here today.

The Vice President said that making the Members aware of their actions and thoughts through books by MPs is the healthy method of continuous communication. He further said that the Members of Parliament should follow the democratic method of constructive dialogue. We all should work for fulfilling the aspirations of the people of our country, he added.

The Vice President expressed his concern over the present trend of disrupting Parliament by the Members hampering the developmental activities. The Government should propose, the Opposition to oppose and finally the House should to dispose, he added.

The Vice President said that the farming community in our country is in deep distress and we should take measures make farming sustainable and remunerative. He further said that home-grown food security is an important aspect that we all have to take care of. It is our responsibility to provide nutritious food to the poorer sections of our society, he added.
