Dehradun: On the initiative of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, “Dev Bhoomi Dailogue” program aimed at starting a direct dialogue with every class of society is being started in the state. The direct dialogue initiative with the people is an important part of good governance. The first program in this series will be organised on April 20 at Chief Minister’s residence where 500 youths from around the state will participate in the function. The Chief Minister’s media advisor Mr.Ramesh Bhatt informing about the program said that those speakers have been in who have done exemplary work in various fields of work have been invited and they will interact with the youth directly.
Padam Shri Dr. Anil Joshi will keep his views on “Himalayas, the world of immense possibilities”. Dr Mahendra Kunwar will speak on employment opportunities through local resources and will motivate youth towards self-employment. The DGP Uttarakhand will speak on the subject “The role of Police in the development of Uttarakhand”. Secretary Amit Negi, Uttarakhand will speak on the issue of “Uttrakhand, Kal Aaj aur Kal” and present a roadmap of the possibilities and opportunities available in Uttarakhand. The Vice-president of Palayan Ayog SS Negi will speak on the subject titled “Aa Ab Laut Chalen” and will stress on migration and the changes happening in the state due to reverse migration. Secretary Skill Development Dr Pankaj Kumar Pandey will speak on the subject titled “Skill Uttarakhand” and present a blueprint of skill development and employment opportunities in Uttarakhand. Amit Sinha director ITDA will speak on the subject titled “Realization of the dream of Digital Uttarakhand” and present a picture of digital revolution in Uttarakhand.
The CM’s Advisor Mr. Ramesh Bhatt said that the Chief Minister will be felicitating 20 youths of the state who have done illustrious work in various fields in this program and have presented an example through the hard work done by them. The most important phase will be that the Chief Minister will enter into a dialogue with the youth directly. The Chief Minister will discuss important issues, namely linking youth with growth center, self-reliance through self-employment, looking for new opportunities for employment and ways to stop migration.
In addition to this, Chief Minister will hear out the views and suggestions of the youth and discus various issues related to the state. The suggestions will be noted by the related officers and they will also answer the technical questions. The officials will then discuss on the ways to implement the output of the suggestions with the Chief Minister. Cultural programmess will also be organised on the occasion. He said that this programme will be aired live in all blocks and tehsil headquarters. The program will be broadcast from 119 SWAN centers and through webcasting in remote villages namely Ghes and Himni in Chamoli district and Pipalkot village in Pithoragarh. The “Dev Bhoomi Dialogue” will continue every month and next month the dialogue would be with the farmers, women and the industrialists. Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has extended his greeting to the people on the start of “Chardham Yatra”. He said that on the auspicious occasion of ‘Akshyaa Tritya’ the portals of Gangotri and Yamnotri have opened and he wished the people of the state prosperity and happiness on the occasion. He directed the officials related to the arrangements during yatra not to be negligent at any moment. He directed the officials to ensure that the pilgrims don’t have to face problems during their Yatra and District Magistrates were directed to assess the arrangements and submit the report to The Chief Minister office on regular basis. The Chief Minister said that his priority was to look after the convenience of the pilgrims so that they do not have to face any problems during their pilgrimage.
