Dehradun: Regarding various demands of the Uttarakhand Personnel, Teachers, Outsource United Front a meeting under the leadership of Finance Minister Mr. Prakash Pant was held between the officials of the government and the organization at Secretariat. In the meeting, the Finance Minister assured to issue the 11 points minutes of the meeting on Tuesday. Finance Minister said that points of agreement with the Uttarakhand Personnel, Teachers, Outsource United Front will be tabled in the next cabinet meeting.
During the interaction with the office bearers, he said in today‘s cabinet meeting, discussions were held regarding the demand of employees to give benefit of all the allowances as per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, for giving three promotion to the teaching employees under the rules issued by the Department of Personnel, Uttarakhand, to give benefit of three ACP and in the past the ACP 10, 16 and 26 years and giving employees of Power Corporation the 09, 14 and 19 ACP benefits as in the past. It was decided to hold discussions will all the organizations and table the demands of the employees in the next cabinet meeting. He said that the much anticipated demand of employees to provide insurance cover to the state employees, officers, retired personnel and their dependents has been approved by the Cabinet on Monday.
Finance Minister said that in some matters, which are related with the union government, the Uttarakhand Government will comply accordingly once the centre takes decisions. He instructed the Finance Secretary Amit Negi that departments in which there is no opportunity of promotion on certain posts, such departments should be identified and a proposal should be prepared. He further said that the demand of class four employees that employees who are not qualified for promotion and have been working for a long time on the same grade, should be given benefit through staffing pattern, should be examined and a proposal for tabling in cabinet should be drafted.
On protecting the interests of outsourced personnel, the Finance Minister held extensive discussions with officials and Front office bearers.
