She has modelled for brands like ‘Forever 21,’ ‘Prada,’ ‘Givenchy,’ ‘Fendi’ and ‘Chanel,’ and has walked the ramp in various celebrated fashion events. Kendall Jenner is one of the worlds most sought after fashion models and the ‘Forbes’ magazine ranked her at No 16 on its 2015 list of top earning models.
Amartya Sen
Amartya Sen is an Indian economist and philosopher. Sen has been teaching and living in the United Kingdom and the United States since 1972 . Sen is known for his valuable contributions to welfare economics, social choice theory, economic and social justice, economic theories of famines, and indexes of the measure of well-being of citizens of developing countries.
He is currently a Professor at Harvard University and a member of faculty at Harvard Law School. His work in welfare economics earned him the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1998 and India’s Bharat Ratna in 1999.
In 2017, Sen was awarded the Johan Skytte Prize in Political Science in most valuable contribution to Political Science.
In February 2015, Sen opted out of seeking a second term for the chancellor post of Nalanda University stating that the Government of India was not keen on him continuing in the post.
Prithviraj Kapoor
Prithviraj Kapoor was an Indian actor. He was a pioneer theatre and Hindi film personality. He was born in Punjab in British India as Prithvinat Kapoor and started his acting career in the silent era of Hindi cinema.
He is also the originial Kapoor, the person behind Bollywood’s most celebrated Kapoor family. Kapoor will be known for generations to come for his performance as the famous Mughal emperor Akbar in Mughal-E-Azam and his performances in Awaara and Pardesi. Kapoor directed quite a few films during the course of his lifetime.
Kapoor’s later generations have carried on his legacy with grace by giving Bollywood some of the finest actors and film makers from the family.
Gabe Newell
Gabe Logan Newell, often nicknamed Gaben, is an American programmer and entrepreneur who is best known as the co-founder and president of the video game development company Valve Corporation.
Born in Seattle, Newell went to Harvard in the 1980s but dropped out before graduation to go on to work with American tech giants Microsoft where he worked as a producer for their windows operating system for about a decade.
Impressed by computer games like Doom and Quake in the mid 1990s during his tenure in Microsoft, Newell, along with his Microsoft co-worker Mike Harrington, left Microsoft to co-found Valve in 1996, where he still remains president.
