New Delhi: Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has received a proposal from Government of Gujrat for procurement of Groundnut under Price Support Scheme (PSS) in Gujrat during current kharif season, 2016-17. In this regard, Agriculture Ministry, GOI has given approval on 2nd November, 2016 for implementation of Price Support Scheme for procurement of Groundnut in the State of Gujrat during the current Kharif season and directed NAFED and SFAC to initiate the procurement immediately at MSP + Bonus at Rs 4220/Qtl.
