Dehradun: Tourism businessmen from Ramnagar, under the leadership of MLA Mr. Diwan Singh Bisht, met the Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat and handed him a memorandum at CM residence on Thursday. The delegation informed the Chief Minister that on the order of the honorable High Court, the number of jeeps engaged in tourism at Corbett and Rajaji National Park has been reduced. Chief Minister said that increasing the employment opportunities for the locals and promoting tourism is on the top priority of the state government. He said for the resolution of the said problem, a request would be made to the honorable High Court. He instructed the government advocate to study the matter and present the case with utmost seriousness in the honorable court. On this occasion, Chairman (Gypsy Union) Madan Joshi, Ajay Chimwal, Atul Bisht, Rajesh Negi, Ashish Thakur, Prashant Kumar, Ashok Bhatt, Arun Kumar, Hem Bahuguna etc were present.
