Young Mujeeb ur Rehman bowled the best over of his young career defending 17 runs in the final over as Kings XI Punjab defetaed Delhi daredevils by 4 runs at Feroz Shah Kotla ground on Monday.
After being set target of 144 runs for victory, Delhi got of to good start thanks to opener Prithvi Shaw, who was given the first game of the tournament. Ankit Rajpoot gave Punjab the early breakthrough by getting rid of Shaw. He had his second of the match removing Glenn Maxwell for 12 runs. Skipper Gautam Gambhir also couldn’t get going as he also was dismissed for single digit (4 runs).
Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer who played well together in the last game couldnt do the damage yet again as Mujeeb dismissed Pant for just 4 runs. (DC)
