Magnitude 6.0 earthquake rocks eastern Taiwan’s Hualien

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Hualien. The earthquake has toppled buildings in Hualien. At the moment, no information on casualties or damages as a result of the tremors is available. No tsunami warning has been issued so far.The earthquake could be felt across Taiwan, with an intensity of 3 felt in Taipei.
