New Delhi: Mr. Greg Abbott, Governor of the State of Texas, who is currently on a trade mission to India, called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
Noting the strong growth in India-US strategic partnership, Prime Minister Modi underscored the importance of growing linkages with Texas in the fields of trade and commerce, energy, industry, education and people-to-people contact. The two dignitaries agreed to further strengthen these ties.
Governor Abbott expressed appreciation for the contribution of people of Indian origin living in Texas to his State and to the United States.
