Dehradun: The appointment of Jeetandra Singh Samant, a resident of Dharchula, district Pithoragarh in state education department as a next of kin of deceased was pending since 27 June 2017. He sought appointments with district education officer many time but to no avail. Samant registered a complaint on CM mobile App, seeking appointment in the department. Taking cognizance of complaint, Chief Minister’s office instructed District Magistrate, Pithoragarh to sort out complainant’s appointment issue. It was revealed during investigation that appointment of complainant was pending at additional director’s office (Madhyamik), Kumaon division level for the last nine months. Chief Minister’s office instructed additional director’s office (Madhyamik), Kumaon division to act swiftly in order to address complainant’s grievances soon. Acting swiftly, additional director’s office (Madhyamik), Kumaon division appointed Samant, considering his qualification which was MA (English), B.Ed, CTET on the post of assistant teacher (LT) English (temporary) in Government Inter College, Naamik, Pithoragarh. Samant expressed gratitude to Chief Minister for acting swiftly in order to address his long pending complaint regarding his appointment.
