On occasion of International Youth Day, CM Trivendra launches Wash Up campaign

Rishikesh: On the occasion of International Youth Day, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat launched a Wash Up campaign for the purpose of increasing awareness on water conservation and hygiene at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. Chief Minister said that youth have the most important role in the development of any country. To achieve any big goal, it is important for the youth to have a sense of leadership. For the development of the country and to achieve big goals, collective efforts are required.

Chief Minister said that to achieve any goal and for the development of the country, the states, and for the welfare of the world, the countries, must make efforts by working together. What do young people want to do in the future? They should have a clear idea. The youth need to be their leader themselves. The life of a person should not be just limited to him but should be for everyone’s support. Young people need to develop their thinking based on decision-making and social values. So that the coming generation can follow them and can move forward on the right track.

Chief Minister said that special efforts are needed for the protection of environment and water conservation. Efforts are being made by the state government to rejuvenate the Rishiparna and Kosi rivers. Plantation was done on a broad scale with the help of people on both sides of the rivers. Public cooperation is essential to make any major campaign successful.

On this occasion, Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan, Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati, Mr. Shiv Khemka and youth representatives of various countries were present.
