Payment made within three months of lodging complaint on CM App

Dehradun: Dr. K.P.Joshi, Senior Physician had retired from Base Hospital, Srinagar in June 2015. Because of the system issues, even after lapse of three years, Dr. Joshi did not get the pension and also the 21 months remaining salary. Dr. Joshi has applied at Srinagar Base Hospital, Health Directorate and at government level and requested to start the pension and clear the remaining salary. But in the three years, he only got disappointment. Thereafter, someone told him about the CM App and suggested that he should lodge his complaint there online. Dr. Joshi, who had lost faith in the system, was surprised when he was contacted by the CM’s office within 24 hours of lodging the complaint and the full details of the matter were taken from him. From this Dr. Joshi got hopeful again. Within 72 hours, the instructions of the CM office, the Health Directorate swung into action on the complaint and the proceedings started.

Within just one and half/two months, Dr. Joshi got the remaining salary for 21 months and pension also started. Dr. Joshi said that during his tenure, he had served on high posts. He had been personal physician of the former Governor of Uttarakhand and many former Chief Ministers. Even then, because of the flaws in the system, his problem was not being resolved. Thanking the Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, Dr. Joshi said that the CM App is like a boon for people like him. The speed with which the complaints on CM App are settled is commendable.

Similarly, Dr. K.P. Joshi’s wife, Dr. Sushma Joshi was a senior pathologist in Doon Hospital. She too retired in December 2015. Dr. Sushma Joshi said that even after two and a half years, her pension was not started. When she went to Doon Hospital in connection with his pension, it was said that his letter was in the Directorate of Health and when she used to visit Health Directorate, the reply was that the letter was with Doon Hospital. She had to make several rounds for her pension. On this, she filed an online complaint on the CM App. She was immediately contacted by the CM Office. All information was taken from the Directorate of Health. On the instructions of CM office, the necessary formalities were completed by the Health Directorate and her pension was started within two months of lodging the complaint. Dr. Sushma Joshi has thanked the Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat and said that everyone should take advantage of such a good App.
