Dehradun: Uttarakhand Parliamentary Affairs, Legislation, Languages, Finance, Excise, Peyjal and Swatchata, Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Prakash Pant held a meeting at his office in Vidhan Sabha here today. It was decided in the meeting that as per the orders of the honorable High Court, the sale, storage and marketing of plastic carry bags will be fully banned in the state.
It was decided in the meeting called in this regard that in compliance of the orders of the honorable High Court and National Green Tribunal (NGT), notification will be issued soon. However, relaxation in exporting such material will be considered.
