Poor family gets power connection through CM mobile app

Dehradun: A poor family of Dalanwala got electricity connection immediately after complaining on Chief Minister App. There was no electricity connection in the house of Nand Kishore, a cycle repair mechanic living in Nai Basti Dalanwala for the past 30 years. He tried for the new connection by requesting the electricity department but failed to get the connection despite his efforts over the years. When social activist Anurag Bhatia got to know about it, he registered a complaint on the Chief Minister App immediately. The Chief Minister office on receiving the complaint directed the UPCL officials to initiate the exercise of providing the electricity connection in the house of Nand Kishore. The electricity officials got the form for new connection filled and within few hours installed the electricity connection in his house. The officials also installed LED light bulb in his house to curb the high consumption of electricity. Nand Kishore has extended his gratitude to the Chief Minister and the UPCL officials for installing new electricity connection.
