New Delhi: The President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee received the participants of the recently concluded Rio Paralympics at the Rashtrapati Bhawan yesterday . Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Vijay Goel was among those present on the occasion. The athletes included Shri Devendra Jhajharia and Shri Mariappan, gold medalists of Rio Paralympics, Ms Deepa Malik, silver medalist and Shri Varun Singh Bhati, Bronze medalist.
Last week, the para-athletes had met the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
